The way I measure seat size is from the front of the back of the swell (closer to the horn to keep the line level), across the seat to the seam. I have noticed that some companies measure differently. Circle Y seems to perhaps use a measurement from horn to cantle seam, which could add another inch to the measurement I provided for seat size. I have broken down to clean, oil, and condition these saddles.
I have quite a few saddles, so I'm not going to weigh them. The average western saddle weighs 25-60lbs. I'm just going to use 40lbs on all of them, but it is not the actual weight [unless it happens to be accurate by chance]. I do NOT return items for "buyers remorse". That is, if you just decide that you shouldn't have bought the item.
