Vintage Western Show Saddle, Serial Number Stamped, Circle Y

  
Well loved vintage show saddle. Serial numbers stamped onto skirt under fender, missing latigo carrier so no maker's stamp. Looks like an older Circle Y Equitation saddle. Measures 16", fits and rides more like a 14.5" due to the equitation style seat. Nylon tie straps on both sides. Horn is solid - has an indentation and scuff in the leather in the front of it (see photo) but no wiggle and solid. It had a horn cap on it at one time, thus the hole.

A new one could be added. Have had extra holes punched in them. Saddle was well loved and a favorite. Top of fenders have been stitched to leathers and looks like newer stitching towards the front of the bottom of the skirts near rigging rings.

The suede seat shows wear and stitching fraying in places. Front corner stitching has been worn out but corners stay down so hard to tell but I want to point that out. Small white rub on cantle.
