Lowell Jett Western Roping Saddle

  

Lowell Jett was a well known saddle maker in Tucson, Arizona back when I went to private school there. My Dad had this saddle custom made for me by Jett. I roped calves for one year in 8th grade! I have used my saddle a couple of times since then.

I have since lost the cinch and the leather bucking cinch. Back then my horse Sandy got ringbone and went lame.

I was such a wimp my Dad had to come and have her put down. A lot of memories are in this saddle, but not much use. I oil it up every couple of years.
