Handsome Hand-Tooled 15 CIRCLE Y Western Saddle Conditions READ

  

In full disclosure with this item, we formerly had this beautiful Circle Y saddle listed at almost twice this price. We have discovered that the front shoulder pieces of the saddle tree are split on each side as show in the photos, and it broke our hearts, BUT we have examined it more closely and have decided to price it at almost HALF the price it was originally listed. This decision was made based on these tenets/ideas. Since the main structure of the saddle tree is not broken, it is still perfectly usable for light riding, but we would not recommend it for tough rodeo-type events such as roping or barrels.

It would also work well for a youngster, and at 15, it is not too large for most youngsters over 8 years old. It would make a FABULOUS design and decor piece for a man/woman cave, game room, designer barn, or restaurant. Add some bling and make it extra eye-catching.

The saddle could be ingeniously mounted atop a bar stool structure and provide a mountable bar stool as seen in movies. This pretty saddle would make an excellent photo prop. Make a children's swing from a tree much like those made of truck tires. Finally, much like a used car, the saddle could be "pieced-out" for parts to repair other saddles.

The leather would also be great for crafters. We are of the opinion that it is not likely repairable because of the holistic nature of the saddle tree in any saddle. With all of that legalese disclosed, here is some information about this particular saddle brand and model. Genuine Circle Y western saddle. 15 seat as shown in photos.

Seat is a comfortable size with a high swell. Lightweight in comparison with many other saddles 24 lbs. High pommel provides a more secure ride and comfortability. 6 Gullet as shown in photos.

Saddle has been newly cleaned and treated with NeatsFoot oil. Very nice "Classic Equine" saddle pad is included.

Padding beneath saddle is in good condition with one blemish as shown in photos. It is missing one concho on the right side near the cantle. Note that NO girth or other billet straps are included. One of our favorite aspects of this saddle is that it is lightweight and more easily manageable than most western saddles. Saddle pad in photos is NOT included.
