A superbly made Western / Australian hybrid stock saddle - or "half bred" as they are commonly known in Australia. Please view the details on the maker's website here. This saddle has a luxurious quality, the seat is deep and secure , the'poley's' , the rigid panels above the rider's thighs , offer greater security on steep descents or if your horse is inclined to be a bit lively , these will help you keep your seat in the saddle. There is also a strong hand hold strap over the pommel , ideal for the emergency grab and gives confidence to the nervous rider. The rigging is as designed for a conventional western saddle , so safe and easy to manage.

There are plentiful brass D rings for attaching saddlebags, coats, lead ropes etc. The stirrups are strong and comfortable heavy duty aluminium. I thoroughly recommend this saddle as a comfortable trail riding saddle, for work on your farm managing stock, for nervous riders and indeed nervous horses!
