Antique/Vintage 14.5 Texas Tanning / TexTan slick seat roping saddle

Here are the saddle particulars please look at pictures closely!! Maker stamped "Texas Tanning Co" on the tie strap carrier and on a badge on the back of the cantle.

Probably dates to the early 1940's. 14.5" leather seat (measured from front of seat to leather / 15" to cantle binding). Slotted conchos with strings (front strings are broken). Gullet / full QH bars.

Sheepskin underside - fair condition. Leather covered stirrups - probably not the originals. 3 stirrup straps with quick change buckle stirrup adjustment.

Aluminum dropped dee front and rear rigging. Weighs approx 32 lbs as pictured.

Comes as pictured with front tie straps, but no cinch. If you have any questions, please ask! I will answer them as quickly and as well as I can. This means that the price is determined by the carrier based on package size, weight, and destination.
