1930's Texas Tanning & Mfg. Tooled Leather Handmade Western Saddle Tex Tan. This antique Tex Tan saddle is in nice condition for it's age showing normal wear from regular use.

Tex Tan was the first saddle company in Yoakum when they opened in 1919. Not only was Tex Tan manufacturing saddles, but also harnesses and horse collars in the early years. During the Depression, Tex Tan, then named Texas Tanning & Manufacturing Co.
