15 Tex-tan Western Pleasure/ Trail Saddle

  
We have been busy trading and have taken some clean used saddles. We will be offering some of these saddles and other items over the next few weeks. Today we are offering this clean Tex-Tan pleasure/ trail saddle for sale. Tex-Tan saddles were made here in the USA in Yoakum, Texas and not somewhere overseas.

This saddle has a 15 inch suede leather seat that is embroidered. The entire saddle is double buck stitched.

It is silver-laced on the pommel and cantle. The tooling on this saddle is the classic floral pattern. The leather is not all dry and cracked but clean and flexible. The stirrup leathers have been cut and someone has punched a few extra holes. Measuring from the center of the seat to the stirrup on the last hole we measure 35 inches. This should not affect most riders. The lining as you can see from the pictures in clean but appears that a mouse has nibbled a little on the back half. We have included a off-billet and tie strap so your ready to ride. For those of you who use breast collars it does have "D" rings.

The two back strings are braided leather. The tree is Rock solid.

The horn has no wiggle or wobble. Overall skirt length is 27 inches. Total weight is 35 pounds.
