14.5 Sheridan Saddles All Around Ranch Saddle. This is such a punchy little saddle! And, a true multi-event saddle as well. From Sheridan Saddles (Sheridan Buckle & Saddle Co), this is from their Ranch Saddle line of saddles, this one is built to hold up to roping, dallying, while still being comfortable enough for all day riding, and secure enough for game events.
On a 14.5" tree, but fits closer to 14" with that super deep seat. On Full QH Bars, measuring 7 with wider shoulder flare and decent wither clearance.
Fits flatter through the bars. Would be a great option for the'typical' QH/Stock breed type with a wide shoulder, back and is flatter along the top line. This saddle is as cute as it is handy!
Offers roughed out seat, fenders, and top front skirt with tooling on the seat. The swells, back of the cantle, and skirts are finished off with a nice, classic floral tooling. The seat is quite scoopy with leather pencil roll.
In skirt front rigging that is reinforced into multiple points of the tree, making sure this saddle stays put. Equitation style skirt offering a great, close contact feel. Fenders are free swinging like a barrel saddle, are pre-turned, and offer plenty of adjustment. Comes with a nice set of wood stirrups. Like a true rancher, this one has a reinforced post horn that can dally without a problem.
Comes fully fitted, including plenty of strings and an extra wide back cinch. When we first saw this punchy saddle, we could have sworn it was black. We've asked ourselves more than we care to admit if it's black or very dark brown.... We've decided it is very dark chocolate brown.
This saddle has been very well cared for, not roped off of, and stored well. Shows only minor/typical signs of use. The original conchos one the saddle have a bit of surface rust on them, which is purely cosmetic.This is such a nice saddle, one that looks sharp and will actually hold up to some real work. It would look perfect in the ranch horses classes! Seat: 14.5", fits closer to 14".
