So more than likely this saddle was made no later than the very early 1900s. As can be seen in the pictures, it is in good shape, but I would think that it would be a display item versus being used as a working saddle. The seat measures 13 inches, has a 4-inch Cheyenne roll cantle, 3-inch leather-covered horn, 24-inch long skirts with sheep-skin underlining, and wood stirrups. Hopefully, someone with similar interests will find this to their liking.
