The saddle was made by the Fred Mueller Saddle Company that was established in Denver, CO, in 1893. The half-seat style of saddle was prevalent during the late 1800s but was replaced by full-seat saddles at the start of the 20th century.

So more than likely this saddle was made no later than the very early 1900s. As can be seen in the pictures, it is in good shape, but I would think that it would be a display item versus being used as a working saddle. The seat measures 13 inches, has a 4-inch Cheyenne roll cantle, 3-inch leather-covered horn, 24-inch long skirts with sheep-skin underlining, and wood stirrups. Hopefully, someone with similar interests will find this to their liking.
