Vintage SIMCO/CRATES High Back Western Saddle Built in Saddle Bags Basket Stamp

  

Vintage High Back Western Saddle by Simco/Crates. This vintage Simco marked saddle we believe was built when Crates owned Simco. The leather is in very nice condition. Some checking due to age.

Built in top skirt saddle bags. High back cantle measured from center of top skirt to top of cantle approx 4.25. Slick 15 seat measured from back of fork to cantle edge. Underside is in very good condition.

We filled the saddle bags with paper to keep their shape. Saddle was cleaned prior to pictures but it could use a better cleaning. Feders at lower corners need better conditioning (horse sweat). Gullet measures approx 6 at the concho to concho level. This listing may look familiar.

The person that was helping us has moved onto other activities. Item will show signs of use. Dust dirt scuffs scratches wear. We have a 10x20 shed full of horse tack related items we are cleaning out now.

Someone will always be here Monday through Sunday. 15 Only one saddle per box. At times we may have to change the box size and usually it will be a smaller box than originally estimated. That is a Huge pet peeve of ours. We don't like it done to us and we will not do it to you.
