Here is a very pretty 12 Double T youth saddle, primarily designed for roping and barrel racing. The colors of this pretty saddle are truly complementing of each other; it is a mixture of dark beige/tan and burgundy brown that has delightful tooling all around the skirt as shown in the photos. The cantle and high horn are both accented with an ivory leather trim that is not only pretty, but also enduring of challenging use.
The roughed-out leather/suede seat is marked with the iconic Double-T name plate. This particular saddle is almost new, but the previous owner assured us it has been on a horse/pony only twice.See photos of the underside. The saddle includes both stirrups and excellent billets, but we were shorted the stirrups when we bought it (and we have adjusted the price accordingly); girth and backstrap are not included. Please observe photos to see what is included. Any bridles on same rack are a different listing. Double T Tack originated in 1987 in North Carolina; their saddles are made with full grain leather and reinforced trees that distribute weight evenly, keeping both rider and equine comfortable during long hours under saddle.
All tooling and stitching is designed to endure lengthy regular use without falling apart, offering a saddle durable for trail riding, roping, competing, or working cattle. This saddle weighs in at approximately 18 pounds, making it easily manageable by a young rider.
