14.5 Ortho-Flex Western Trail Saddle. This is an original (and early) Ortho-Flex, deigned to be a true, all purpose saddle while still being incredibly comfortable. This one is a great cross between an original trail, an equitation, and a Cattle Barron.

Has a heavier duty build to hold up to some work will still offering the cushy padding that makes these saddles so popular. Ortho-Flex has a literal cult following. They were the first to modernize and use'flex panels' which are secured to a standard wood tree on'floating' ball joints that actively move with each step of your horse. Aiding in saddle fit, supporting higher impact sports such as endurance riding, and limit pinching and riding. This saddle has dropped rigging to free up the shoulders that is reinforced into the tree at multiple points to help secure the saddle well.

This one measures 14.5 to stitching, but does fit a hair smaller with the deeper seat and ample padding. It is true pretty too with the classic tooling and just a bit of silver on the conchos. This saddle has spent a good portion of its life as a camp saddle, so has seen plenty of use and lots of ride time. However, it has also been well cared for.

A few years ago, it was sent out to have the panels serviced and panels appear to be in fully working order. On the near side of the saddle, right where your thigh would be, there is a horse's name written in sharpie. It is quite faint, but it's there. This is an older saddle with a very low serial number. It does show its age in the form of some leather discoloration, normal scuffs and scrapes, but all that makes it that much more affordable!

Does not come with stirrups. Comes with matching rear billets. This is such a nice saddle and is so darn well priced.
