Used 14.5 Western Collector Saddle Hard Seat High Back Vintage Old Cowboy Relic

  
This 14.5 Slick seat, Highback Collectors saddle, is a rare piece to find. The wood tree rawhide wrapped is still solid.

This is a true Vintage old cowboy western saddle with all the marks, scuffs and wear and tear of being used in the old wild west days. To bad this saddle can't talk and tell us of its hard life on the range. Parts of the saddle has seen better days, and shows heavy wear. This saddle has the features the cowboys liked, the high cantle, smooth seat, wide swell and the small tall horn.

Most of this saddle looks to be original, except for the over lay stirrup leathers, part of the skirt where the rigging plate wears and the leather laces in the stirrup leathers have been replaced with the old 1950s pin system. The pommel also needs some stitching or if this saddle is going to a museum it would be better to leave it as is.. Please look over photos closely.
