Martin Western Shooter Saddle 16 Seat

  
Lightly used "Martin Shooter" Custom Saddle. 16 inch seat in "Chestnut" color "Hermann Oak" leather. Saddle has a 6.5 gullet. Almost completely hand tooled (7/8) with a beautiful design that has darker dyed (antique looking) leather around the floral "Desert Flower" design which makes the tooling pop! Suede leather on the jockeys.

"Silver beading" or silver dots all over the saddle, six sets of strings, back flank strap, "Hamley Twist" for stirrups, stained wood "Dark Oak" 2 inch stirrups (Nettles), sheepskin lined under saddle, and "Vintage Bark Elephant Full Seat" leather. Also has the sliding adjustable plate for your cinch (helps with different horse conformations). You would wait four months or more for your saddle to be made with all the features included on this saddle.

Saddle tree is the "Martin Axis" (wood covered in fiberglass). Saddle is strong enough to use for roping and was never used for that purpose, so it is in excellent condition for whatever riding you would like to do. Saddle skirt length is 26 inches, so it will fit a shorter backed horse. Saddle weighs around 35 pounds.
