High Country Cowboy Company Will James western saddle BARELY USED with sterling

  

ABSOLUTE LOWEST PRICE IS HALF THE COST OF NEW! Like new custom Will James saddle made by High Country Cowboy Company out of Gunnison, CO. This saddle is featured in their catalog on page 8 as the "Ervin Will James".

Will James model with semi-quarter horse bars. 16" tree with a 15.5" finished seat. 4.5 cantle with a hand-tooled Cheyenne roll. Roughout seat and fenders with an inlaid, padded seat. Exposed and tooled stirrup leathers. Drop O rigging with rear dee. Basket tooling and running boarder.

Sterling silver conchos (6) and rear sterling custom cantle plate all by silversmith, Bill Stewart. Lined back cinch w/ matched tooling.

To have this level of artistry and craftsmanship would cost thousands more today. The asking price is a steal considering it's nearly new.

It's only had about 10 light rides on it. It's a heavy working saddle.

I'm short and my horses are tall, so this is a bit much for me to heft around. I've had it several years, but it's spent most of it's life sitting on a rack in the house. The only modification is the very long original stirrup leathers (back of the fender where stirrups are adjusted) were cut shorter by pro saddle maker, Jim Marr, out of Newcastle, CA.

The original cut pieces can be included with the saddle. Average adults (32" to 34" jeans inseams) were using this saddle, so it shouldn't be an issue unless it's for someone really long-legged. This saddle is a gem -- ready to work hard and look good doing it.
