Billy Royal Supreme 15 Vintage Sterling Silver FQHB Western Saddle

  

Gorgeous used classic vintage Billy Royal Supreme #3315 show, pleasure, or fancy trail saddle with sterling silver. Padded suede very comfortable deep 15 equitation seat with a 3 1/2 cantle.

Horn is nearly 3 1/2 inches across with a large sterling silver horn cap. Skirt is 27 with 3 way in skirt rigging plate and rear billet slots. Rich chocolate finish that is deeply hand carved in an acorn and oak leaf pattern.

Silver lacing on the entire skirt, pommel, and cantle. Blevins buckles and laced leather stirrups.

Sterling silver is stamped Mexico Silver Overlaid and it has a beautiful patina to it. I will leave the silver cleaning up to its new owner as the patina finish it has is very desirable. It will polish up to a brilliant shine. Some minor dents in some of the silver conchos.

Silver rear corner plates and cantle plate that is not engraved with a name. Saddle has the Billy Royal emblem clearly stamped on the fenders and it shows no wear at all. #3315 is stamped on the keeper.

Real wool fleece has a couple small tufts out of it... Not noticeable but will mention it is there. Rawhide wrapped tree is sound and tight. Very good condition, lovingly cared for, and a quality vintage show saddle.

Suitable for many western disciplines and very comfortable deep seat. Pictures are part of the description. Please check your measurements to ensure fit for horse and rider.
