Antique 1885 Western Sam-Stagg, Loop-seat, Cheyenne Roll, Stock Saddle-SANTA FE
Here is a collector quality, c. A large saddle with 27 skirts, 15-15 1/2 seat, Sam-stagg rigging (Christmas tree laced), Loop seat, Sam-Stagg, loop-seat , Cheyenne Roll and iron stirrups. The leather in good shape for 125 years old, soft and flexible. The stirrup leathers are older replacements. Original leather on the front cinch rings are worn. With Joseph Alexander Samstagg, a saddle maker at Main & Winchester in San Francisco in the late 1850s. From a old Santa Fe western collection.
