Vern Martin roughout double rigged saddle

  

Vern Martin is one of America's master saddlemakers, now retired. It took me a year to convince him to make me a roughout and this is probably the last roughout he made. Low Association tree, full-double rigged, 4 1/2 cantle.

I used it for a mountain saddle and not very much. Over the years with the middle-aged drift it is just too small for me. This saddle is true Americana and deserves to be ridden and used.
