16 Johnny Ruff Western Barrel Trail Horse Saddle w Round Skirt FQHB Made in USA

  

This is for a used Western barrel or trail saddle made by Johnny Ruff. He is a local saddle maker from Ocala. It says it's a 16" but measures as a 15 1/2" with the padding on the back of the seat. You can see the pictures of the tape on it. It's 16" to the leather on the cantle so technically it is a 16" saddle.

This saddle has floral tooled skirts, cantle and pommel. It has roughout fenders and jockeys with a padded suede leather seat. It has nice high 5" cantle with rawhide lacing and a rounded skirt with the length measuring just 23".

It has a wider gullet that measures 7 and full quarter horse bars. Great for the short stocky quarter horses.

Comes with the latigo and off billet. Its a used saddle but it's made well. Ruff saddles will last and this one has a lot of use left in it. It's a sound saddle.

NOTE: This saddle has a spot on the seat. You could probably sand it out but you would also be sitting on it so it's not in a noticable spot. It was used as a demo but never been on a horse.
